Heat treatment of larger pieces in vertical position

We carry out tempering and hardening, hardening, normalizing and quenching of structural and tool steels with max. dimensions: D 1250 x 9500 mm and weighting max 22.000 kg.

Furnaces attested according to AMS2750 Rev. C are used for heating of material. The accuracy class of the furnace is 4 °C up to 700 °C and 6 °C  for higher temperatures.

Normalizing and annealing are performed to max. length of D 800 x 14.000 mm and max. 22. 000 kg weight.

The advantages of this kind of heat treatment process include a minimal distortion of products.

After heat treatment is finished, products will be straightened to 1,0 mm/m tolerance and stress-free annealed, if required.
