History
Sistemska tehnika d.o.o. developed in a steelmaking & machining environment, the beginnings of which go almost 400 years back to the time when the tradition of steelmaking, processing and finishing of steels started.
Mechanical working in this area started after World War II and largely expanded in the midst of 1980's when the company already had many modern NC and CNC machines in its production. The birth of a strong center for defence products and for the manufacture of metallurgical equipment go back to that period representing the core of today's activity of Sistemska tehnika d.o.o.
A technologically linked system in Ravne and rich experience helped the company to survive and to continue also in the critical years following the economical and political changes in this area at the beginning of 1990's.

A transformation of companies
A transformation of companies aimed at establishing solid program cores resulted in the foundation of the Sistemska tehnika d.o.o. company in 2002.
In 2003 Sistemska tehnika was taken over by VIATOR & VEKTOR group. A reorganisation of the company was again carried out in 2007, when the defence program was separated from the civil program and was organised into a new independent company with the name Sistemska tehnika ARMAS, d.o.o..
